The Indigenous Access Program at UBC Okanagan supports Indigenous students by facilitating their transition into degree programs. Established in 2006, it combines academic courses with holistic support, including mentorship and cultural activities. Funded by the Province and UBC, the program has improved graduation rates and can be replicated in other contexts.
