Policy initiatives on the right to higher education in Peru

Tracing Good and Emerging Practices on the Right to Higher Education, UNESCO IESALC.

Peru's higher education system faces inequality due to poverty, geography, and ethnicity. This case study highlights two policies addressing these issues: Beca 18, which supports academically strong students from vulnerable backgrounds, and the National Superintendency of University Higher Education, which ensures educational quality, both promoting access to higher education.
