Policy initiatives on the right to higher education in Jamaica

Jamaica aims to increase higher education access to 50-70% by 2030 but faces challenges, including low enrolment (under 30%) and inequitable secondary education. To address this, the government is developing alternative pathways, the National Qualifications Framework, and increasing financial support through the Tertiary Students Assistance Programme for greater accessibility.
