Integrating refugees into the German higher education and the labour market

This case study examines initiatives at Magdeburg-Stendal University aimed at integrating refugees, particularly Syrians, into higher education and the German labour market. Launched in response to the 2015 refugee crisis, these programs expanded to include all international students. They aimed to address challenges in access, retention, and integration.
