Equity Policies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India

This case study explores JNU’s affirmative action programs, including deprivation points, Equal Opportunity Office, and linguistic empowerment which have promoted diversity and parity. The success of these initiatives, alongside University Grants Commission guidelines supporting marginalized groups, shows their potential for replication, advancing equity, social justice, and national development in education.
