This conference aimed to bring professionals supporting care-experienced students in further and higher education, local authorities and charities to explore issues related to care leaver progression and retention in HE.

The conference saw Key note addresses and workshop contributors from the likes of: Office for Students, Spectra First (Care Leavers Covenant), Become, National Teaching and Advisory Service, British Association of Social Workers, The Care Leavers’ Association, University of Wolverhampton, Leeds Beckett University, University of Salford, Aimhigher London.
What were key messages coming out from the event?
Whilst much progress has been made, there is still much more we need to do to support care leavers accessing and succeeding in higher education.
