Más allá del acceso: los desafíos de la equidad y la calidad de la educación superior en América Latina y el Caribe desde la perspectiva de la CRES 2018 es el título del webinar que abordará el crecimiento desigual de la educación superior en la región y el consecuente rezago de más de cerca de la mitad de la población estudiantil entre los 25 y 29 años de edad.

A cargo de Débora Ramos (IESALC), este primer webinar del día invitará a reflexionar sobre estos temas y a revisar el tratamiento que sobre los mismos se dio en los debates de la III Conferencia Regional de Educación Superior (CRES 2018), realizada en Córdoba, Argentina, en junio de 2018, pasando por los objetivos y estrategias que en el Plan de Acción CRES 2018-2028 se consideraron para el abordaje de estos desafíos.

Beyond access: the challenges of equity and the quality of higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean from the perspective of CRES 2018 is the title of the webinar that will address the unequal growth of higher education in the region and the consequent lag of more than about half of the student population between 25 and 29 years of age.

Lead by Débora Ramos (IESALC), this first webinar of the day will invite you to reflect on these issues and review the treatment gave in the debates of the III Regional Conference of Higher Education (CRES 2018), held in Córdoba, Argentina, in June 2018, through the objectives and strategies that in the CRES Action Plan 2018-2028 were considered for the approach of these challenges.
