Organise An Event

Here you’ll find all the resources you need to help you run an event on World Access to Higher Education Day.

What do I need to do to run a World Access to Higher Education Day event?

Running an event is just a few simple steps.

  • Planning your event – once this is done you’ll be well on the road to a great event.
  • Make sure you register your event with us so we know it’s happening and can help people to find it!
  • The big day! You can use our event resources to help your event be a success on #WAHED2021.
  • Don’t forget to share details, photos and videos with us and report on your event afterwards so we can share your work and what you’ve done.

What kind of event could I run?

Inequality in access to higher education is everywhere but across the world the nature of that inequality is varied. Your event could take any number of forms and could relate to general higher education access issues or specific issues you’ve personally experienced or work on in your country or region. If you are an access practitioner, you could run an event working with young people, second-chance learners, schools, colleges, NGOs or employers.
