ASCILITE’s Digital Equity SIG celebrates World Access to Higher Education Day.

The Digital Equity SIG is one of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) which is run under the auspices of the Australasian Society of Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ASCILITE).

The aim of the SIG is to:

•  Identify and explore the issues, challenges and opportunities relating to digital equity and to bring these to the attention of ASCILITE members and the broader higher education community
• Provide guidance and advice to members on issues relating to digital equity
• Foster the development of initiatives, innovation and practices relating to digital equity
• Foster collaboration around digital equity projects, publications and practices

The Digital Equity SIG has organised a celebration to coincide with World Access to Higher Education Day with an emphasis on digital equity access issues in relation to entering and participating in higher education.
